John Furlong says Vancouver should bid for 2030 Games, is the mayor on board?

In a speech at the Vancouver Board of Trade, John Furlong put forward the idea of Vancouver bidding for the 2030 Winter Games. So we want to talk to the Mayor of Vancouver Kennedy Stewart to see if he would back the bid.

A B.C. mom says she’s disappointed with the Ministry of Children and Family Development using the term mental ret*rdation in a generic letter she received on Tuesday. She says it’s a symptom of a greater problem.

Are you a parent like me? You planned for where you would like to raise your kid and even what public school he or she might attend.  It is certainly a luxury to be able to plan this way, when you think globally…...but here in Vancouver it’s pretty do-able…..or at least it used to be

COVID-19: 2 former Diamond Princess cruise passengers died from virus, Japan says

Two elderly passengers taken off the quarantined cruise ship Diamond Princess because they were infected with the new virus have died, Japan’s Health Ministry said Thursday, becoming the first fatalities from the virus-stricken vessel.
