On Tuesday's show, we told you about the support by Vancouver Mayor, Kennedy Stewart, for a high-speed rail line connecting Vancouver to Portland, Oregon. The cost would run into the tens of billions, but revenue from fares would be expected to cover costs by 2055.Ā

But other Mayors are speaking out - saying that perhaps we need to focus on other transit projects first.

Face App sparks privacy concernsĀ

If youā€™re wondering why your social media feed is being flooded by photos of wrinkle-enhanced celebrities and friends, you can thank FaceApp.

Celebrities such as Drake, LeBron James, Gordon Ramsey and the Jonas Brothers have all posted pictures of themselves with wrinkly skin, glasses, and greying hairā€¦ and those pictures created a landslide of popularity for the app.Ā

Ā As of 11 a.m. this morning, FaceApp was the top trending free offering in Appleā€™s App Storeā€¦ and according to reports, FaceApp has altered photos for more than 80 million users since its 2017 release.

However, as fun as the app may be, cyber security analysts have some major concerns about the app. I spoke to Domninc Vogel, founder and Chief Strategists of Cyber SC, about the viral app and the privacy issues.
