Chapter 1
🔥🔥 Hot question of the day 🔥🔥
Many people would like to see free parking at hospitals. And while that doesn’t appear to be coming to the Fraser Health region any time soon, a change will be coming in regards to the way you pay for parking.
Starting at Surrey Memorial Hospital, people will pay for parking when they leave - not when they arrive. This will help people avoid returning to their vehicles to find a ticket on the dash.
Vote in @simisara980's 🔥 question of the day: Fraser Health hospitals will change their pay parking system, so customers can pay when they exit. Currently, users must guess the duration of their visit in advance, and pre-pay.
Does this change in hospital parking go far enough?
Yes, that’s much better.
No (reply and say why)

Pink Shirt Day: what can players, parents, and coaches do to stamp out bullying in youth hockey?
Today is the CKNW Kids’ Fund Pink Shirt Day, and we’re aiming today to raise awareness of bullying, which of course is a major problem in our schools, our workplaces, our homes, and online.
We’re also raising funds today to support programs that foster children’s healthy self-esteem. You can find out more on PinkShirtDay.ca.
There have been lots of stories in the news recently about bullying in youth hockey. So we wanted to have a conversation now about what coaches, parents, and young players themselves should be aware of, to help stamp out bullying in the sport.
