A Nanaimo woman has won a court case in which she says her rights were violated under the new federal drunk driving provisions.
Lee Lowrie says she was at her sister’s home in Maple Ridge, BC  when she received a call from the RCMP stating they had a very personal issue they needed to speak to her directly about.
She was breath-tested for alcohol after a couple of drinks that she enjoyed at her sister’s home, and she claims that she had no intention of leaving that house for the rest of the day.
