Why did authorities move to take a baby from its Indigenous parents just 90 minutes after birth?

APTN is reporting that social services moved to take a baby girl from its parents - an Indigenous couple - just 90 minutes after birth.

Social workers later removed the infant, saying they had received a report of neglect. The baby was born by C-section in a Kamloops hospital on June 12th.

Artists are now suing Universal Music Group for the 2008 fire that destroyed thousands of archived  recordings

The suit is accusing the largest record company in the world for breaching contract by failing to properly  protect the artists’ recordings.

Ray Charles, Chuck Berry and Elton John to the Police, Nirvana and the Roots are just some of the artists whose recordings were lost.

Fraud, money laundering charges laid against 4 executives with Vancouver’s PacNet

Four executives with a Vancouver-based payment processing company have been charged with fraud and money laundering in Nevada.

Rosanne Day, 51; Robert Paul Davis, 63; Genevieve Renee Frappier, 49; and Miles Kelly, 55, are each facing one count of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering and multiple counts of mail and wire fraud.

Day and Davis were part owners of Vancouver-based PacNet Services Ltd., while Frappier and Kelley worked as marketing and compliance executives, according to prosecutors.
