Flu Update
Canada's chief public health officer says an early spike in a strain of influenza B this flu season has sent more children to hospital. Doctor Theresa Tam says influenza B doesn't usually peak until February or later, but the strain is circulating across the country, along with a strain of influenza A, which typically targets the elderly. She says the double dose of both influenza A and B strains has not been seen in Canada since 2015.

Even more confusion over BC’s Distracted Driving Laws
Where do you keep your phone when you drive? For real, where is it? That’s where the plug in is, and so it sits on my centre console. Apparently that’s a no no given what has been happening with folks being ticketed for having their phones within reach. Kyla Lee joins us on the line on yet another OVERTURNED ticket for having a cell phone in a cup holder.
Guest: Kyla Lee, Lawyer, Acumen Law
