BC Liberals say they will hand over documents on money laundering

Sam Cooper and John Hua have been instrumental in unearthing the depth of money laundering and the evils of associated organized crime; it’s been shocking revelation after shocking revelation.  With seemingly zero consequences.  We bring in former crown prosecutor Sandy Garrossino, current columnist with the national observer.

Flu Update

Canada's chief public health officer says an early spike in a strain of influenza B this flu season has sent more children to hospital.  Doctor Theresa Tam says influenza B doesn't usually peak until February or later, but the strain is circulating across the country, along with a strain of influenza A, which typically targets the elderly. She says the double dose of both influenza A and B strains has not been seen in Canada since 2015.

Where do you keep your phone when you drive?  For real, where is it?  That’s where the plug in is, and so it sits on my centre console.  Apparently that’s a no no given what has been happening with folks being ticketed for having their phones within reach.  Kyla Lee joins us on the line on yet another OVERTURNED ticket for having a cell phone in a cup holder.

Free fentanyl test strips to be distributed in Vancouver Coastal Health region

Vancouver coastal health has introduced new fentanyl test kits. 

For the first time in British Columbia, the public will be able to check drugs at home with take-home fentanyl test strips.
