Poor Day on the Markets

This morning has seen the DOW take a nose-dive, down upwards of 900 points . When there is a surge or a crash in the markets, the first place we go is to Michael Campbell … host of Money Talks Saturday mornings across the Corus radio network, heard here in BC at 8:30am …. Metro Vancouver Chinese restaurants ask governments for tax exemptions amid COVID-19 outbreak 

BC has recorded another case of COVID 19 - or novel coronavirus. It's the 7th case and connected with case 6 identified last week, a woman returning from Iran.  He's a man in his 40's in the Fraser Health region, he's stable and in isolation at home. Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says others in close contact are also in isolation being monitored.

In response to fears over COVID-19, many of metro Vancouver’s Chinese restaurants have had to temporarily shut down. Charlie Huang is the President of the Canada Catering Association – a non-profit group supporting the owners of Chinese restaurants – and he says that fears over the outbreak have negatively impacted business.
