🔥🔥 Hot question of the day 🔥🔥

Yes

No

This week in BC politics

Eight new cases of COVID19 in BC were announced yesterday... including Canada's first community transmitted case. Provincial health officer Dr Bonnie Henry says one of the new patients went in with flu symptoms - as part of the flu surveillance program, whenever someone goes in for a flu test right now they will also be tested for the novel coronavirus. In this case... the test came back positive.

Officials are more concerned about the eighth new case which appears to be Canada's first case of community transmission. That patient had no recent travel history or known contact with any confirmed cases.

Finance Minister Carole James announced she has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. She says she is not resigning, but will not seek reelection in the next provincial election.

Indigenous Affairs Minister Scott Fraser held a meeting with protesters who then proceeded to hold a sit-in inside the legislature

The trades look to recruit more women on International Women’s Day

Unfair bias in hiring practices, discrimination, bullying and harassment, restricted access to protective clothing, equipment, unequitable workplace policies - in 2020, these experiences can be commonplace for women working in the skilled trades in BC and have contributed to a significant underrepresentation of women in certain trades for decades.
