đŸ”„đŸ”„ Hot question of the day đŸ”„đŸ”„

It’s @MikeSmythNews’s đŸ”„ question of the day:

The Simi Sara Show broke the news yesterday that bus services are now being impacted by the transit strike.

As the disruption increases, should the NDP get involved to find a resolution, or stay out of it for now?

Yes, flex those muscles.

No, keep well away.

Second week of Saanich school strike comes to a close

Students in Saanich are entering a 10th straight day of missing classes, as the union representing school support workers continue to strike over wages.

The school district says they offered the union a 7 to 12 percent raise, but CUPE president Dean Coates says it's not enough. Saanich Board of Education's Elsie McMurphy says they can't offer the union any more money.

It doesn't look like kids will be in school soon, as both sides say there are no plans to get back to the bargaining table.

30th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall

This Saturday marks 30 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall. After WWII, Germany and the city of Berlin, were split into four zones. To stop the flow of people from East Germany into the west, the East German government under the authority of the Soviet Union, began to build the Berlin Wall in the overnight hours of August 1961. Niki Reitmayer looked back on this moment in history with those who were there.
