A group of homeless people are afraid if they don't go into newly-found shelter space, they could be evicted from their campsite.          

Homeless people living in a wooded area off the King George Boulevard in North Surrey known as the "Sanctuary" say they won't let the city use the opening of a new shelter as an excuse to shut down their homeless camp. 

Spokesperson Dave Diewert says there are fears the encampment will be dismantled once the shelter is full. But Councillor Brenda Locke says no one will be forced to do anything against their will...
