Our beloved CKNW newsreader, Gord Macdonald, loves wearing shorts.

So he was born to tell the story about the Winnipeg Blue Bombers fan, Chris Matthew. 

He vowed not to wear shorts until the Blue Bombers won the Grey Cup.

82 year old Willie Murphy from Rochester, New York 

82-year-old Willie Murphy found herself in danger after she says a man broke into her home. 

Willie says she was getting ready for bed Thursday night, just after 11 p.m., when a man began pounding on her door...and eventually made his way into the house. 

However, the intruder proved to be no match for Willie because what the intruder didn’t realize is that Willie is an award-winning bodybuilder who works out at the YMCA almost every day.
