Loser
Terrible, but anonymous, driver in Burlington, Ontario
We’ve talked a lot about ICBC today. And you know, your premiums are so expensive because of drivers like this one.
He’s in Burlington, Ontario. And he’s now facing charges and a fine of $563.
Why? First off: he was going at 107kph in a 60 zone.
Second: there were several open cans of beer in the passenger seat - including a tall can sitting right there on the dashboard.
Police sent out a tweet about the incident - they do say he was not impaired.
No word on how the driver managed to avoid spilling any of those open beers...
Winner
Ronnie Foster, of Pink Hill, North Carolina
Our winner today is Ronnie Foster, of Pink Hill, North Carolina.
He’s quite literally a winner - ABC News tells us why...
He told reporters: "I bought a $1 ticket and won $5," Foster said. "I decided to trade it in for a $5 ticket. At the last second, I decided to buy two tickets instead of one."
As for the medical bills - "I have good insurance," Foster said. "But there is still some cost. This will make it a whole lot easier."
