Should you sign a non-disclosure agreement?

In the last hour, we spoke to Brie Jacobson, she’s a Vancouver Island resident who survived the Las Vegas mass shooting two years ago.

While the owner of Mandalay Bay where America's deadliest shooting is settling hundreds of lawsuits, not all victims are being paid out. Brie Jacobson is one of them - she did not take legal action, partly because it would likely have involved her having to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

So we wanted to talk about these types of agreements more generally now - many of us are asked to sign them from time to time. But should you sign them? And do you have any recourse down the line if you have regrets about having signed one?
