The deadline is only a few hours away for those camped out in Vancouver's Oppenheimer Park to pack up and leave.

City staff is helping many to make the move into shelters or SRO's and it's not easy going in this wet weather. 

If some are still in the park when the 6 pm deadline comes and goes, City councillor Pete Fry has told Global News an assessment will be made at the end of the day or tomorrow - but police won't be immediately moving in.
