Today is the CKNW Kids’ Fund Pink Shirt Day, and we’re aiming today to raise awareness of bullying, which of course is a major problem in our schools, our workplaces, our homes, and online.
We’re also raising funds today to support programs that foster children’s healthy self-esteem. You can find out more on PinkShirtDay.ca.
There have been lots of stories in the news recently about bullying in youth hockey. So we wanted to have a conversation now about what coaches, parents, and young players themselves should be aware of, to help stamp out bullying in the sport.
