The provincial government revealed yesterday that a new enforcement unit is being be put in place to crackdown on renters and landlords not following the law.
Housing Minister, Selina Robinson, says the Compliance and Enforcement unit will investigate complaints against repeat or serious offenders.
She says the unit was formed after the Rental Housing Task Force received feedback that people felt there were no repercussions for breaking tenancy laws.
