This morning, Special Counsel Robert Mueller announced that he is resigning from the Department of Justice, and that the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential election is officially closed.

 Mueller summarized his report’s findings, and said that while his investigators found evidence of Russian tampering, there was not sufficient grounds with which to proceed with charging the President with a crime.
