It’s the last Friday before Christmas, and like many people, this past month may have had you socializing more than all previous months combined!

You’ve had work obligations, friend obligations, and, of course, family obligations.  For the answers to all our Christmas etiquette questions, we turned to Carey McBeth, a local Lifestyle expert. Let’s see if we really know how to behave…

DILEMMA 1: I keep hearing that when it comes to being a dinner guests at someone’s home, you should bring one bottle of wine for the table and one bottle of wine for the host. Is that the common rule? Is it wrong to only bring one bottle of wine if you plan on drinking?

DILEMMA 2: When multiple family members are hosting gatherings, how do you decide which group to spend the holiday with? It seems like we are always disappointing someone.

DILEMMA 2: A friend recently stopped by and dropped off a beautiful Christmas gift for our family. I didn’t get her family a present and can’t afford to match her generosity. While I completely appreciate her kindness, I also feel so awkward. How should I have handled this situation?

DILEMMA 3: It’s everyone’s nightmare! What to do if you clog a toilet at a hosts house? Carey McBeth even had answer for this dilemma…

DILEMMA 4: You’re having a great time at this Christmas party… maybe too good of a time! Suddenly you have spilt red wine on your hosts beautiful rug. What should you do?

DILEMMA 5: Finally, it’s a family Christmas party and some of the guests kids are acting more naughty than nice. Do you risk telling a fellow guest/friend that their kids are acting a little too wild?
