Sitting in last place in the Western Conference of Major League Soccer, the Vancouver Whitecaps have announced a front-office shakeup.

The team is doing away with the President's job, but Bob Lenarduzzi is not leaving.

Rather, the former player, coach, and executive is moving into a new role of club liaison.

Meanwhile, an international search has begun to hire a Sporting Director for the team, who will lead the technical direction of the club and report to ownership.

Bob Lenarduzzi has been speaking at a press conference in the past half-hour. And as we’ve been hearing, he’s been speaking about the next steps for the club, along with his own record as club President.
