(throw to montage audio)

The Godfather of video games explains the Pokemon Craze
Regardless of your background or age, thereâs no doubt youâve heard of Pokemon. Initially launched as an original GameBoy game in 1996. There was also a card trading game released in the same year. 22 years later people are crazier about pokemon than ever. A few years back Pokemon GO was released, which caused hordes of people to go out into the world and catch pokemon as if they were really in front of them using augmented reality. Two new Pokemon games are about to be released and theyâll feature Pokemon GO integration. If this is all gibberish to you, our next guest, who could be known as the Godfather of Video Games in Canada - Victor Lucas, will be able to translate this into a language we can all understand.
