Just because someone has been taken into custody, and police have a good idea what crimes they have committed, doesn’t mean they have enough to convict. On November 7th 1953 a man was born who would go on to become a serial killer known as The Sunday Morning Slasher. But, despite his arrest, police needed to broker a deal in order to get the full picture of how many victims he truly had. A deal that, almost, allowed this man to walk free. Carl Eugene Watts Born (1953)
