December 11th: Harry T. Hayward Dies (1895)

Money, power, and a good reputation doesn’t always mean you are a good person. On December 11th 1895 a man was hanged for a crime that, given his status amongst society, shocked the community in which he lived. A man who, despite displaying all the warning signs, was believed to be a good person simply because of his family name.
