March 16: 2021, Bruins’ Rookie Goaltender, Daniel Vladar took to the ice at PPG Paints Arena prepared to make his NHL debut against the likes of Sydney Crosby and his red-hot Pittsburgh Penguins.  Most people will point to the wild highlight save which Vladar  somehow managed to paddle the puck away from the net and into safety.  However, Vladar turned in a solid effort overall which provided more than enough sturdiness to keep the B’s in the game long enough for Trent Frederic to break the tie with a sniped wrist-shot that beat DeSmith during the middle of the 3rd period.  The Bruins’ ended the Penguins 6-game home win streak and will now look to build a little momentum of their own.
