Georgina Godwin meets Zimbabwean author NoViolet Bulawayo. Her first novel, ‘We Need New Names’, was shortlisted for the 2013 Man Booker Prize, making her the first Zimbabwean and first black African woman to make the shortlist. Her new novel ‘Glory’, set in an animal kingdom called Jidada, tells the story of dashed hopes, corruption and greed following the fall of a dictator.
