Lionel Shriver doesn’t shy away from controversy, and instead seems quite drawn to it. She rose to acclaim following the release of her novel ‘We Need to Talk About Kevin’ in 2003. Since then, she’s won the Orange prize for fiction and written for ‘The Wall Street Journal’, the ‘Financial Times’, and ‘The New York Times’.
