For upward of 60 years, David Nieper Fashion has produced high-quality women’s clothing, mainly selling directly to customers via mail order and now online.

The firm employs several hundred workers and says its order book is booming – but, like many UK businesses, is suffering from supply chains disruption and a shortage of skilled labour.
