BIOGRAPHY Jamilly “Budy” Whitfield is the creator and host of “Beauteous Me”, a weekly podcast designed to create a forum for dialogue about the “female” experience and the challenges women face with internal and external beauty. “Beauteous Me” welcomes candid conversations on universal issues. Whitfield is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), mom, wife and career woman who counsels individuals in the areas of trauma, abuse, and other adverse issues.
Whitfield’s future projects include motivational speaking. In Whitfield’s spare time, outside of her “Beauteous Me” podcast, hosted from Pleasantville, New York, she is a mentor to young women and an active member of the WoC group, an informal group of professional women of color who gather quarterly to participate in group discussions on women’s issues and rights. Whitfield is also a member of WomenEmpower, a Women’s Empowerment centered organization that focuses on holistic approaches to expanding the power within and she participates in community service and advocacy.
