Mom Confession: I Let My Kid Swear & He Swears in Front of Me

When it comes to raising a polite, well-mannered, highly articulate kid, I kind of have things in the bag. I’m not shy about asking him to remember his “pleases” and “thank you’s,” and he gets a stern glance from me if he forgets to do so. But I have a confession to make — I also let my tween kid swear, and I swear in front of him, too. Yep. Behind closed doors, we’re both a couple of potty mouths.
