Mom Boss | Dawn Russell Founder of 8Greens

Another amazing Mom Boss joins us, and she has got one inspiring story. Dawn Russell is a cancer survivor, health advocate, entrepreneur, founder of 8Greens, mother and wife. She was named to Vanity Fair’s Hall of Fame, honored as one of Vogue’s four women of empowerment, featured in the book 100 Most Powerful Women of the Next Generation, and was a spokesperson for Estée Lauder.

Dawn talks to Hilaria and Daphne about how she founded 8greens out of necessity. At age 25, she was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphatic cancer. When doctors could do no more, she went in search of solutions and found them by discovering the immense value of smart nutrition. She beat her cancer and spent the next 5 years working through 264 prototypes to create the world’s first green effervescent tablet that contained these 8 essential greens. Realizing that only 13% of Americans (including children) get the minimum daily recommended amount of greens, Dawn went on a mission to help anyone get the benefits of greens no matter where they are or how hectic their lives. Thus 8Greens was born.
