Mary Jarrett was the former CIO at the gas & oil conglomerate, Shell. After working in the corporate industry for over 20 years, Mary decided to leave and set-up her own coaching company called Change4Good also known as Good4Change, where she supports aspiring leaders and entrepreneurs in achieving their goals.

Mary has a lot of strings to her bow and is also a tennis coach and passionate about implementing the learnings we see with sports stars to excel in our careers and change our lives for the better.

Our founder, Rosie Coxshaw is in conversation with Mary to hear about her background and provide learnings of how to transition into a senior-level or C-suite position in a male dominated industry, her experience of working in a large corporate and understanding why they're aren't more women in board-level positions and how we can change this.
She also shares some golden nuggets around what habits we can adopt from sports(wo)men to excel in our own careers and business, how we can harness more focus in our day-to-day work and advice for SME's looking to scale up in challenging and turbulent times, she says;

"You’ve got to have a plan, believe in it, you’ve got to stick to it and have the discipline and build consistency and you’ve got to push through....don’t spread yourself too thin and go after multiple different segments, just relentlessly follow a single minded plan".
