· Martial Arts Philosophy
o Solo and partner drills and sparring before forms
o Forms are a process of learning and refining linked movement, sports-specific strengthening and conditioning
o Sparring is not fighting nor combat, it’s simulated fighting for the sake of learning
o Combat sports are a safer avenue to build real skill that involves minimal injury risk
o One person versus multiple is not impossible but highly implausible
