If I'm honest, the biggest blocker to getting this podcast started for the last 2 years was knowing that I wanted my first interview to be with my dad, and not being ready to ask him or make that happen. If you're going to interview other Catholic dads about being Catholic dads, you'd start with your own dad if you could... right?
This may be the only episode of Modern Josephs in which I won't edit the audio, cutting out any of our pauses or mannerisms. I also know this is going to serve as a living memory for me and my dad as life goes on.
At long last, an idea two years in the making - the first real episode of Modern Josephs.
