Tyson says, "I grew up in Hanford California a 4 sport athlete which included team roping. Born on a ranch in a small town I had a rope in my hand before I could walk. Completed in dummy ropings as a kid and started jackpoting around 8 years old. My love for basketball football and baseball pulled me away from team roping but the love for the sport was always there. graduated from Hanford high school. Pitched at Fresno city and was drafted by the Houston Astros in 2011. Played for the Astros for 7 seasons in the minor leagues. Was an organizational Allstar, played in the Arizona fall league in 2014. In 2015 he was a triple A national champion playing for the Fresno grizzlies. Current pitcher for Toros De Tijuana of the LMB."
