I had a great conversation with Bobby “The Jet” Rodriguez who started mutton bustin’ at age 3. He was taken in by his Grandmother at age 6 and stopped all rodeo activities at that time.

⁣⁣⁣Bobby is a product of the south-side of Tucson, Arizona and started working out when he was in the 7th grade with his youth football coach. He graduated from Sunnyside High School in 2007 where he was a standout multi-sport athlete. Bobby was coached by some of Arizona’s most legendary coaches during his prep years. Coaches like Bobby DeBerry (Wrestling), Richard Sanchez (Football) and his staff.

In 2003, Coach Sanchez took Bobby under his wing, picking Bobby up for school every day for the next 4 years, teaching him how to be a leader in all aspects of life. While at Sunnyside, Bobby earned the nickname “The Jet” for his speed on the football field that helped Sunnyside during their State Championship runs. Bobby went on to play football at the collegiate level and graduated from The University of Arizona from the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences.

After earning his degree from UA in 2012, Bobby moved to Brazil and began training people on the beach which ignited Bobby’s passion for coaching and helping others through sports & fitness. During this time he studied Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Mixed Martial Arts. He won many bouts in various divisions and in 2015 Bobby represented the US and won the bronze medal at 168 lbs at the IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation) World Championship. In 2016, having moved back to Tucson, Bobby started Jet Multi-Sport Training.⁣⁣⁣⁣

⁣Bobby currently rides bulls professionally and competes in the PBR (Professional Bull Riders). Bobby has ridden the top bulls against the top cowboys from around the world in 3 different countries, having competed in the US, Mexico and Brazil. Bobby is fluent in 3 languages including English, Spanish & Portuguese. Bobby loves adrenaline, traveling, competing and the camaraderie aspect of professional rodeo. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣Bobby has played and competed at the highest levels of sports, therefore, he understands what it takes to prepare the mind and body to perform at the highest level. Bobby’s disciplined life consists of a balanced lifestyle of nutrition and living a drug & alcohol free life.

Having trained athletes from youth, high school, NCAA, and professional sports, Bobby guarantees that anyone who trains with him will enhance their mental game and overall skill set as an athlete. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
