Malcolm White talks with Forrest Galey, Eudora Welty curator for the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, about the reissue of the book "Eudora Welty Photographs," published by the University Press of Mississippi. The book, originally published in 1989, features digitally restored photographs taken by Welty in the 1930s-1950s. Famous for her work as a novelist and short story writer, Welty was also an accomplished photographer. The newly released book includes her Depression Era photos of Mississippi as well as pictures from her travels to New York, New Orleans, South Carolina, Mexico, and Europe.
