Pastor Manoj - Priya is Healed!

Pastor Manoj gives us an update on how Priya’s treatment was going.

In early 2020, Pastor Manoj and his family kept themselves busy exercising, walking, continuing with their daily life with God’s presence. Priya was also fasting for 40 days and would skip 1 meal a day as part of a diet program. She began to lose weight very rapidly and they initially thought that was a good thing until, last July, she seemed to be going into a very severe case of diarrhea. They tried the prescription the doctors gave her but nothing worked. They even tried having her drink only bottled water in case the reason why was because of the groundwater they were using but it also didn’t work.


She was finally checked and there was severe obstruction that had her urgently admitted and undergo surgical treatment. Even though it had been difficult to find medical treatment, they were finally able to do a CT scan and found the real reason for the problem. Priya had a tumor and she needed urgent surgery. It was later found out that it was cancer. Throughout this entire difficult time, Pastor Manoj thanked God and everyone who prayed with him for Priya. He also thanked everyone who sent money for the surgery and cancer treatment.


The doctors said she had stage three colon cancer and they were preparing Pastor Manoj for what was to come. They were talking about having 12 chemos over an entire year but that was when God worked to remind them of His love. From that 12 chemos, it was reduced to 4 chemos in a span of 3 months. By the second week of September, by God’s grace, Priya had completed all the 4 chemotherapy treatment cycles and all the reports became absolutely normal: no cancer cells or any symptoms. The doctors declared that she doesn’t need any more medication and they only have to follow up with the doctor every quarter to keep a check on her for about 2 years.


The Lord Almighty performed a miracle and healed Priya. Some of the doctors couldn’t even believe it. God reached down and touched Priya. He took her cancer away and brought complete restoration to the human flesh. For as long as we have faith and believe in Him, God will be there for us. That is why even with what is happening around us, we must not lose faith and continue to praise him. The pandemic might shut our churches down but not the good news. We can share God’s love with our neighbors and those we talk to. All of us see the glory of God, we only need to open their eyes to God’s love.
