As we continue our verse-by-verse study through the Book of Philippians, we're in Chapter 3, with a focus on relying on God's grace not our own works, living for heaven, and knowing God personally.

We talk about weeping for the lost, praying earnestly for people who need Jesus, and aiming our children as ARROWS for God. In this lesson, we focus on a 3rd part of an arrow, the SHAFT (which needs to be straight and solid), representing the solid WORD OF GOD.

Two key verses from Philippians 3:

"I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord..."  (verse 8) and "that I may gain Christ and be found in Him..." (verse 9).
