John Duke - VOTOV/Immortal Possession

Today's guest is John Duke from Canadian metal outfit VOTOV, whose latest album I.X.X.I is absolutely dripping with OSDM awesomeness. John and I had an awesome chat about the band as well as the details surrounding the band's name, the meaning of the their latest album title, how it will tie in to future works, and how the band is taking the OSDM style to new levels of greatness. We also discussed his other project Immortal Possession (which includes all current members of VOTOV), their plans to finally release a proper full length album, how the band differs from VOTOV, and why now is the right time to relive the past. And of course we had to dish about VOTOV's cover of Twisted Sister's "The Beast" and their plans for and EP of epic cover songs.
