The domestic market saw wild swings in a volatile trade due to monthly F&O expiry on Thursday. The US Federal Reserve in its meeting instilled investor confidence by keeping its monetary policy loose and reaffirming aggressive support through bond buying.
The BSE Sensex reclaimed 50000 in early trade before making an intraday gain of over 1%. The BSE Sensex ended at 49,765.94, up 32.10 points or 0.06%. The Nifty closed at 14,894.90, up 30.35 points or 0.20%.
