Markets saw a 2% cut on Wednesday even as the IMF put out an impressive 11.5% growth for India in 2021, the highest for any major economy globally. Indian markets ended in negative for the fourth consecutive session first time since Sept as profit-taking ahead of the F&O expiry and Union Budget saw broad-based selling.
The BSE Sensex ended at 47,409.93, down 937.66 points or 1.94%. The Nifty closed at 13,967.50, down 271.40 points or 1.91%.
