The eighth prayer watch is the hour of dying to self and rejoicing in the power of the Cross. We can receive Godโ€™s help because of the selfless sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ. As Jesus died on the Cross and was resurrected, so the Bible calls us to die to self and live for Christ (Galatians 2:20, NIV)
