In our founding documents and in conventional libertarian thinking, the right to self ownership is inherent and the right to life inalienable. Yet many in the libertarian movement can’t make that connection to the pro life movement. On this MilLiberty, Caleb outlines the basic moral and logical argument as to we the only consistent position a libertarian can take is a stance for life.

But it does not just stop there. In order to be pro life, we mustn’t stop being pro life after the child is born. Pro life libertarianism should be defending the entire life. From the womb to birth to adulthood and beyond. To truly be pro life, one must defend the right to unleash their fullest human potential, not just merely existing, but living. That should be said for those both in and out of the United States. We must also be a culture of life around the world as well, because the right to life and liberty knows no borders.
