My guest today on the Mile after Mile podcast is Peter Shankman.
Peter is a very successful entrepreneur having created, built and then later sold the company Help a Reporter Out (HARO). Now he is a speaker, consultant and all around great guy. He’s also a very committed dad, skydiver and Ironman triathlete.
And if you weren’t already aware years ago he created one of the funniest bits on YouTube about Ironman training. Still very funny. https://youtu.be/B03dFMG8nR4
Today on the podcast we chat about how he is preparing for his upcoming race in October - the Ironman World Championships in Kona.
We talk about how he got his start in Ironman, what keeps him motivated, how he got a spot on the pier in Kona.
We also talk about how one goes about planning a long bike ride for long course training in New York City.
This is a fun interview. Enjoy it.
You can find Peter online at www.shankman.com
You can donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (Team in Training) and support Peter’s Ironman journey at www.shankman.com/ironman
Thank you Peter for being a guest on the Mile after Mile Podcast.
