Today’s guest is Angie Dye. Angie is a business owner, part of a busy household with a spouse, teenagers and several pets and she enjoys a hobby of triathlon training including usually at least one 70.3 distance triathlon a year.

In this episode of the podcast we talk about how she got her start in triathlon. How she decided that she was ready to step up to a longer distance race.

Then we talk about how she and her family worked together to make that work.

Finding the time to train and race is a pretty popular question when we start talking about longer races. That’s where the idea for this topic of conversation came from.

If you have been thinking you’d perhaps like to train for a longer race having the opportunity to hear from people who have made it work in a variety of situations will hopefully relieve some stress, inspire and motivate you that it is possible.

We share some racing stories and even talk a little bit about how she has managed her training during the pandemic. She shares that she and some friends did a special 2020 challenge which I think is really creative. You have to listen to hear the details.
