I've been lucky enough to meet and spend some time with Sir Terry Pratchett a couple of times in my life and I wanted to share those memories and pay tribute to Sir Terry on this very sad day. He was a warm, generous and genuinely humorous man and he will be much missed by us all.

If you've enjoyed a few laughs from Sir Terry, please consider donating to a charity involved in the care of people with Alzheimer's disease and their families, or perhaps lend your support to a medical research charity. Thank you.

Here's the video – the audio version is below if you'd rather just listen.  The audio is in the podcast feed as well.  Sorry if it rambles a bit, but I feel as though the world has just become a little bit duller today.  At least we can say that his legacy lives on and it will for a long time to come.

If you have any tales of enjoyment that you or your kids have had from reading or listening to a Terry Pratchett book, please let me know – it will cheer me up on this sad day. Thank you.
