Avi is a Professor of Science at Harvard University, Director of The Institute for Theory and Computation (ITC), Founding Director of the Black Hole Initiative (BHI), Chair of the Breakthrough Starshot Advisory Committee, and the Chair of the Board on Physics and Astronomy, National Academies. His new book “Extraterrestrial” examines the Oumuamua space object that passed through our solar system unannounced and how it may have been some sort of Extraterrestrial technology or remnants.
