Shay is a graduate of Union Theological Seminary with a concentration in Christian Social Ethics. After graduating, he has worked in the climate movement for six years, including five years in his current position as an organizer for the Sierra Club’s Beyond Coal Campaign. He lives in Flatbush with his husband, daughter, and cats.
