About Eric "Eric came to WABI TV5 in December 2013. He started as a sports anchor/reporter and became sports director in May 2019. Eric began his career as a production assistant at WVII/WFVX in 2005. He also worked as a photographer there until 2006. Eric left Bangor for his home state of Minnesota in 2006. He worked at KEYC-TV in Mankato as a news/sports reporter. He was promoted to weekend sports anchor and held that position until 2010. Eric then moved to Duluth, Minnesota, where he was the weekend sports anchor at KQDS FOX 21 from 2010 until 2013.

Eric grew up in a suburb of Minneapolis. He attended the University of Maine and graduated with a B.A. in Journalism in 2005. When not at work, Eric can be found on the hockey rink, ski slope, hiking, hunting, fishing or just enjoying adventures in Vacationland."
