Fall is the time for change. The cycle of when leaves change colors and drop, and crops are harvested, the weather changes, our activities and routines change, we move from summertime to school time for kids, and even our wardrobes change.

Things begin to slow down from the busy summer pace, though I’d ask you if you are slowing down or shifting your energy. We start to prepare for the next season as we harvest now. That’s an old genetic DNA memory we have deeply embedded within us. Preserve, store, and save for the winter ahead – for the time we do not have, we need to be prepared for what we’ll need.

It's also retrograde season AND eclipse season and this means internal changes. The retrograde season is the opportune time for us to reflect inward, change, shift, process our emotions, and shift our beliefs. We mostly think of change as external – like jobs, careers, and homes, but retrograde season is also about changing how we define ourselves, how we want to live, the stories or the beliefs we have about ourselves – the things that make us happy or not happy and then taking action to make those changes occur. It's harvest time of all the seeds we planted earlier in the year. Those things we've nurtured.  Maybe they've grown or maybe they didn't survive.   Retrograde season is the universe giving us space to think, observe, feel and then change.  It is the season of change.
