Alone. Afraid. Anxious. Feelings that plague every one of us. Feelings amplified by many months of pandemic and uncertainty, isolation and unrest. Loneliness, fear, and worry leave us disconnected, uncertain, and troubled. Mental and emotional health suffer as these feelings grow so strong that they cripple us. Yet my identity is not defined by fear, anxiety, and loneliness. Why? I am connected to God because of Jesus. I am reassured that God cares for me because of Jesus. I am at peace with God now and forever because of Jesus.

The Bible reading for this message is Philippians 4:4-7.

Video of this worship service and message can be found here.

This message is Part 2 in our series: Who Am I? Finding My True Identity in Christ.
The thoughts and language for this series were adapted with thanks from Who Am I? Understanding Your Identity in Christ Through Facts Not Feelings by Rev. Dr. Phil Huebner.
